Professional Biography
Nazif Oben Akşemsettinoğlu graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. During 27 years of clinical experience, he has worked in companion-animal health, preventive medicine, clinical nutrition, phytotherapy, and complementary nutrition.
As the founder of VetWel, Akşemsettinoğlu continues to focus on veterinary wellness, pet nutritional supplements, phytotherapy, and the development of practical supportive-care approaches for cats and dogs.
He provides consultancy in phytotherapy and veterinary wellness to veterinary clinics and animal hospitals in the United States and Türkiye.
He contributes to the preparation and clinical review of educational materials published through the VetWel Education Center, helping ensure that product and health information is presented from a responsible veterinary perspective.
