VetWel LiverWel Liquid packaging

What Is It Used For?

LiverWel® Liquid provides complementary hepatic support by addressing normal liver function together with biliary physiology, digestion, antioxidant defenses, and natural elimination processes.

Hepatic Function

Provides multi-botanical support for maintaining the liver's normal metabolic and functional capacity.

Biliary System

Contains selected botanical ingredients intended to support normal bile formation, bile flow, and hepatobiliary physiology.

Antioxidant Defense

Selected botanical components contribute to support for normal cellular defenses against oxidative load.

Elimination & Metabolism

The formulation also supports digestion, fluid balance, natural elimination, and normal metabolic processes as interconnected areas of hepatic wellness.

When May It Be Considered?

  • As complementary support when hepatic wellness requires additional attention
  • After medication or anesthesia when veterinary hepatic support is considered appropriate
  • During periods of increased metabolic demand
  • When biliary and digestive support are desired
  • For senior or chronically managed cats and dogs requiring hepatic wellness support
  • When appetite and metabolic recovery are important parts of supportive care

Ingredients & Formulation Rationale

LiverWel® Liquid is not simply a “liver vitamin” or a product positioned only around “detox.” Its 21-extract liquid phytocomplex is designed to support hepatic function, biliary physiology, antioxidant defenses, digestion, natural elimination, and metabolic balance together.

Hepatic Function Pathway

Taraxacum officinale, Helichrysum arenarium, and Glycyrrhiza glabra form part of the botanical group selected to support normal hepatic metabolism and liver function.

Biliary & Digestive Pathway

Helichrysum arenarium, Taraxacum officinale, Achillea millefolium, and Foeniculum vulgare are included to complement biliary and gastrointestinal function.

Antioxidant Defense Pathway

Urtica dioica, Echinacea purpurea, Viola tricolor, and Glechoma hederacea contribute to the formulation's botanical antioxidant-support strategy.

Elimination & Metabolic Balance

Betula pendula, Galium aparine, and Urtica dioica complement natural elimination, fluid balance, and metabolic support.

Appetite & Digestive Comfort

Centaurium erythraea, Chamomilla recutita, Foeniculum vulgare, and Mentha pulegium form a complementary pathway supporting appetite and digestive comfort.

Formulation approach: LiverWel® Liquid is designed to support hepatic function → biliary physiology → antioxidant defenses → metabolic balance as interconnected pathways. The liquid format also provides convenient oral administration and may be mixed with food or drinking water.

Veterinary Approach

Elevated liver enzymes alone are not a diagnosis. When hepatobiliary disease is suspected, clinical signs, biochemical parameters, imaging findings, nutrition, medications, and concurrent conditions should be evaluated together.

LiverWel® Liquid does not replace diagnosis, a hepatic diet, fluid therapy, or prescription hepatobiliary treatment. It should be considered only as complementary support within a veterinarian-directed care plan.

Veterinary Monitoring Considerations

  • ALT and AST trends
  • ALP and GGT
  • Total bilirubin
  • Bile acids when indicated
  • Appetite and body weight
  • Stool quality and digestive status
  • Hydration
  • Overall clinical status and patient response

Formula & Safety Note

Because the formula contains Hypericum perforatum and Glycyrrhiza glabra, use in patients receiving concurrent medications should be evaluated by a veterinarian.

In patients with suspected biliary-flow disorders or serious systemic disease, the support plan should be individualized.
